The Estonbob 93 Dual is suitable for both axial and radial wrapping of rolls requiring total film coverage to provide protection against moisture, dust, and damage due to handling or stacking.
The operation is semi-automatic with the sticking and cutting of film (at the start and end of the cycle) made by hand, whilst other wrapping operations are fully automatic. The machine is designed for paper roll wrapping in axial and/or radial style by means of stretchable LLDPE film layers and the machine can be used in axial only, radial only or both modes according to needs.
When wrapping rolls by axial style, the cushion created by the several layers of film traps air between the over-lapping layers thus providing excellent protection against moisture and impact damage. This first cushion, however, is not suitable for heavy-duty handling and a second radial style wrapping, flattening the film onto the body, provides a more efficient safety degree.
The radial style also offers the opportunity for corrugated boards to be fixed onto the heads of the roll by means of staples shot into caps inserted into the paper roll core.
Machine installation is normally on a floor level platform.
