A specialised control system for coating-colour preparation plant

This specialised, flexible tool was designed by paper coating specialists to cover the needs of modern paper mills. The system provides real flexibility for coating formulae required by paper producers.

Papcel automatically adjusts the quantities of each component to be dosed, taking into account:

• the proportion defined in the dosing formula
• the actual density and solid content of the raw material
• the final target solid content
• the final quantity of water required

A powerful batch controller

Papcel features make up a powerful, ISA-S88-compliant batch-control system, including:

• Recipe Manager
  You specify the coating formula and the manufacturing sequence in a semi-natural language. You adapt your process quickly and safely to any required change in your coating preparation (new products, alternative components, etc).
  
• Batch Manager
  You define the coating requirements for the next couple of days. You can rely on Papcel to generate each batch-control recipe, verify its feasibility and have it properly executed.
  
• Resource Manager
  You can not make a mistake: Papcel manages the use of the shared resources.
