Stainless steel deflaking products for the paper industry from Office Airaghi

Deflaking can be necessary to break down fibre flakes that remain in the pulp slurry after repulping. These flakes resulting from the presence of size, coated, and wet strength grades in recycled fibre bales. Deflakers are similar to refiners in design and operation.

Thermally treated antiwear stainless steel alloy products include:

  • Drilled disks with diameters from 250 to 600mm
  • Toothed rims with diameters from 270 to 950mm
  • Cast mono-block deflakers
