Unwind / Rewind Stands

Designed to unwind reels of different diameters and widths, the machine base is fitted with feet for floor fixing and one or two pneumatically-operated mobile uprights on which two or four moving arms are installed to support the reel at both ends. As the arms are independent, they may be moved without concerns about the centering of the reel. The arms are lifted by hydraulic pistons controlled by a hydraulic unit positioned on the ground. The unit comes complete with an expandable pneumechanical chuck with leaves, and an adjustable return roller for better material wrapping. Pneumatic or mechanical brakes are self-ventilated on both sides and braking control is regulated by a signal from the slitting machines. Electrical components include electrical limit switches and an electrical panel located on the machine as well as manual controls on the remote push-button panel.
